Yosuke Maezawa (前沢 陽介 Maesawa Yōsuke) is a minor character in Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai. He is one of the best basketball players in the school who is known for being popular with girls.
Appearance[]
Maezawa is a tall and slim guy with short brown hair, gold eyes and he has a strong build.
Personality[]
Maezawa has an attractive and charming demeanor, but he is ultimately not above slandering other students. Maezawa has bad-mouthed all of his past girlfriends, and in Tomoe Koga's simulated future, he was responsible for spreading a rumor that Tomoe was promiscuous.
It is from Maezawa's basketball team-mate Yuuma Kunimi that Sakuta Azusagawa learns of Maezawa's personality.
Plot[]
Maezawa appears only in Rascal Does Not Dream of Petite Devil Kohai (and the anime episodes adapting it). He is the subject of Tomoe Koga's dilemma causing her to unknowingly reset time, with only Tomoe and one other person aware of the reset. On the third loop, Tomoe attempts to hide from Maezawa, who ends up finding her in a classroom on top of Sakuta Azusagawa in an awkward position. It is from this incident that Maezawa starts spreading rumors about Tomoe. This leads to a scuffle on July 7 after school at Shichirigahama station, and Maezawa is ultimately humiliated.
Only when Tomoe is able to admit her feelings for Sakuta, that she is able to reset time back to June 27. She uses that iteration to politely reject Maezawa.

Tomoe Koga[]
After Tomoe and her friend watch him play basketball, he takes an interest in Tomoe. When Tomoe and Sakuta Azusagawa start dating, he creates rumors about the former being a whore.
Rena Kashiba[]
Rena, Tomoe's friend, is the girl who first develops a crush on Maezawa. Tomoe's dilemma comes from the fact that she may disappoint Rena by rejecting Maezawa. However, Rena does witness the altercation on July 7 and stops being interested in Maezawa, at least until time is reset again.
Etymology[]
- The name Yosuke means "light, sun, male" (陽) (yo) and "forerunner, herald" (介) (suke).
- Yosuke's surname Maezawa means "in front, before, previously, earlier" (前) (mae) and "marsh" (沢) (sawa/zawa).
